Located on the north end of Wrightsville Beach, Dune Ridge Resort is one the the islands' best resort condo communities. The Ocean Dune condo at Dune Ridge is located on the 3rd floor and offers fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beach. Step inside and find this 3 bedroom 2 bath condo furnished with bright and beach decor and modern touches. The open living area provides plenty of space for the family and encompasses the living area, dining area, and kitchen bar seating. It features large ocean front windows and ocean balcony, perfect for soaking up the views and relaxing outside. Bedroom 1 provides king size bed, bedroom 2 provides a queen size bed and twin, while the master bedroom provides a king size bed and en suite bath. The Dune Ridge Resort is nestled on the quite north end of Wrightsville Beach and offers a tennis court, half court basket ball, and resort style pool. Getting to and from the beach is gated for resort guests only, and offers outdoor showers to rinse the sand before dipping into the pool.   The location and amenities are wonderful. The place could have used a better cleaning and bathrooms need updating. Keep in mind they provide sheets but you have to make the beds yourself. In doing that I saw years of dust bunnies under and behind beds.

  Our Condo rental at DunesRidge was a perfect spot for our 3-generation family visit. Beautiful spot right on the beach, despite enduring a Tropical Storm. We loved being on a more quiet end of the beach but within minutes of all we needed. Perfect space for the 6 of us, good layout and great value. The rental process through Wrightsville Sands was easy, timely and they were very pleasant to work with. Would definitely stay again.

  We usually vaca in Florida, but wanted to try something new. When we first drove into Wrightsville Beach, we were concerned that it was busier and much more crowded than we expected, but just a short drive out of town, we found uncrowded beaches. We enjoyed walking to the coffee shops in the early morning, swimming at the resort area pool, looking for shells on the beach, and sitting on the condo balcony in the evenings with a glass of wine. The location of the condo was not too far from downtown Wilmington, where we enjoyed the riverfront area and an excellent ghost tour.
  (But, beware of the parking fines. They do not play! We saw parking monitors (a private business, much like the speed cameras) ticketing cars throughout the downtown area.)

  We enjoyed our stay here immensely. The views were wonderful to wake up to every morning. Property was just as advertised in the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook. The water does have a sulphur smell, but that is part of being on beach water and is expected. We would definitely stay here again.

  We had a great time visiting our son in Wrightsville Beach. The beach is certainly beautiful and there are many fun adventures to do and many great restaurants.
  
  The view from our condo was amazing and overall the condo was in good shape. I feel the cleaning crew could have done a better job. The property manager was very helpful and responsive! The pool are was gorgeous and was a quick walk to the beach. It was neat to see the beach and hear the waves from our balcony and we could also see the inter-coastal when we walked out our entrance door.

  We enjoyed our stay very much. Realtor was very responsive and answered questions quickly. The condo was well furnished and the location provided easy access to the beach. Also really appreciated the relationship that realtor had with linen supply company. All linens were packaged nicely. We rented a crib also and delivery was seamless which was very nice.

  The ocean view from the covered porch at this condo is lovely and there was plenty of furniture on the porch to accommodate everyone. The furniture in the living room was comfortable, and it was nice to have a pool available on property. However, the walk to the beach from this unit is very long. The bathrooms appear to be original from about 1988 and are in desperate need of updating. The master shower doesn't drain and the shower curtain liner needs to be replaced. The worst thing was that the water from all the faucets smells like sulfur. It was pretty awful. By the end of the trip we didn't even want to shower anymore.

    Thank you for your review. I wish you would have contacted our office regarding the smell of the water. The water at the northern end of Wrightsville Beach does tend to smell occasionally. We would have been happy to change the ionizer in the water heater for you. We have changed it out and the water no longer smells. As for the bathrooms, the owners will be working on updating them this off season. Please feel free to contact our office if you have any additional questions or concerns.

  we have stayed in three bedroom condos many times and find it works perfectly for us. The extra-large balconies at Dunridge are ideal for morning coffee, happy hours, playing cards with the children, and just plain relaxing.

  Overall it was great! Most importantly the beds were comfortable, the living space was great for 6 people and the views you look at all day can’t be beat! The only improvement I would suggest is making sure all lights were working properly and the a/c ducts and filters are always clean.
