  My daughter and husband live in Wilmington. Since they always come home to San Diego, we decided to visit them Labor Day Weekend 2023. While only 4 of us stayed in the house (the parents of the other 4 recently married couples), there were 12 of us throughout the day, and through dinner.
  
  The place was excellent, and I'd definitely stay again! In fact, we're already talking about LD 2024!
  
  The boat dock worked perfectly, and the proximity to both the I/C and the beach was impressive.
  
  I would give it 5 stars.
  
  My only knock, is that there was not a supply of garbage bags, there was only 1 roll of TP per bathroom, and upon arrival the beds were not made (linens were provided in a sanitary fashion). Once we figured that out, it was no big deal.

  This house was in a great location! I would give the outdoor space & deck 5 stars. The dock is shared with the other unit, but that seemed to work out ok. Easy access to beach as well!
  Keep in mind that bars are just outside so it is loud(er) overnight on certain days of the week. There are some small things that could be done inside to make it nicer (i.e old nails & wall hanging hardware hanging out of walls, towel rack hanging off in guest bath). Primary living space is comfortable & spacious. The driveway is tight & can be difficult if you have a large SUV.

  The property was in an average location (adjacent to a bar parking lot, but, in general was not well maintained. Upon arrival at the property, it appeared be cleaning crew was rushing out. Upon entry to the bottom unit, it was obvious the property needed repairs. Garage door framing was damaged, drawers missing in kitchen, shelving misaligned in living room. Numerous light bulbs burned out, flooring/rugs needed sweeping/vacuuming, linens dirty and master bedroom comforter soiled. Had to purchase mattress topper to tolerate the overly firm MBR mattress. AC return air vents were dirty with dust and mold. The rental agency is not 24 hrs so you get answering machine when you call with problems. However, management company came on site, the next week day to make a few corrections. Fan remotes operated fans in numerous other rooms - if you tried to turn out light in one room, it turned on a light in another room - frequencies need changing. The kitchen is not well organized or stocked - not enough utensils, no sheet pans or enough pots/pans for any cooking or food prep. Dishwasher drain is laden with rotten food and would not clean dishes properly. Dishes in cabinets and drawers were dirty. Bathroom mirrors and vanities were not well cleaned. No broom or dust pan or access to vacuum up any sand or spills. Recommend thorough maintenance and updates throughout the property to justify the weekly price.

  We love this unit. We tie up floats off the dock and hang out. The location is so convenient and the access to both the intracoastal and the beach is great. Also within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We rent it every year.

  The location is awesome. You have a very short walk to EVERYTHING - the beach, Robert's Grocery (aka Bob's), Jerry Allens, Neptunes, Lagerheads, Tower 7, Jimmy's, South Beach Grill, Trolly Stop, Vito's Pizza, and the ice cream place. The house was clean and very nice. The kitchen, living room, and outside deck are all very large so nobody is ever cramped. The view is really good, but if they'd cut down the palm tree it would make the view amazing. Paige at Wrightsville Sands was great to work with. We didn't have any issues, so I can't speak to that, but she was very responsive to lease process and any of my questions. We've rented other houses where you have one side with multiple levels (like the entire right or left side of the house), but we prefer the one level layout of this one as you have more overall usable room in the common areas. Our group had no problems sleeping on the same level as the common areas. Less stairs to climb too. We could hear the people that rented the upstairs level some, but it wasn't a problem for our group. We'll definitely stay here again.

  I went there with my family and 2 young girls. This really is a great property with a fantastic location. I would never get sick of the views of the sound and the beautiful palm tree, especially in the afternoons and evening at sunset. The master bedroom and bathroom over look the parking lot for a bar, so was a little noisy at night, but not too bad. Real close to the beach, restaraunts. Loved the market across the street. Property was clean. Only minor complaints, no batteries in the remotes, few lightbulbs were out. I would definitely recommend this property.

  Wonderful stay at Dockside over spring break with 2 parents and 3 teens. Kids could walk everywhere. Husband easily put in boat 10 minutes away and kept it on dock for easy access. Short walk to beach, food and fun. Will stay again! Bonus-garage parking to easily fit 3 cars.

  We rent this property every year. We love the location on the sound and the access to the bars and restaurants of Wrightsville Beach. We’ve rented both units over the years depending on our crowd size and love them both. The unit is a great size. One thing to note is that after all these years it is time for new beds and a general update to the furnishings and appliances. Don’t let that put you off the property, however. It is still great. The dock and into the sound has a covered seating area that is magical and the porch on the back of the house is large. Perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails.

  The duplex is in the best location. The rental company was great and let us check in early and provided a late check-out. Unfortunately the maids didn't get the message as they showed up even earlier than the stated check-out time. Luckily we were mostly packed and I just left when they arrived. The above duplex has stairs to the water that pass by on this duplex's porch so just know there is not much privacy if you are sitting on the porch. The owner upstairs also keeps his kayak at the end of the pier which makes it tough to walk around on the pier end. Furnishings need a little TLC as one of the king beds needs a new bedframe (being held up now by wood pieces making the mattress lumpy). A few lightbulbs need to be replaced and one of the ceiling fan remotes doesn't work. You can't beat the location, the view, and even though there were people above us, you could only hearing them walking around a tiny bit. The kitchen is a tiny bit light on items (no wineglasses) so if you are planning a gourmet meal, you might want to bring your own things!

  Plenty of room for family of 5 in center of WB - walking distance to beach, restaurants, ice cream, groceries. So much fun to have pier with gazebo! Kids enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock. House is in good shape needing very minor updates/repairs. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

  We have rented this property several times over the years and love it. We tie up our floats off the dock and lounge all day or kayak and paddleboard on the intercostal. It is the perfect location close to all the restaurants, shops, and the beach. The farmer's market on Mondays is a must.

  We spent hours on our awesome sound-side deck because the view was incredible; especially at sunset! Even though we were close to the beach, we also spent a lot of relaxing time on our floats tied up to our dock. The location is perfect; within walking distance to restaurants, groceries and bars. The house was clean and roomy with nice furnishings.
  
  The only disadvantage was that the upstairs level is rented separately and we must have had 20 teenagers over us during our week. Even so, we will definitely rent again!!

  Very nice place on the Sound. If upper level is occupied, the bottom level we rented can be a little noisy, depending on the tenant I suppose, and they would use stairs down to the
  Sound side that come thru through the side of your porch. Somewhat annoying although our neighbors were very nice. Some furniture getting worn and the TV is probably too small for most watchers. Overall, a nice place at Wrightsville.

  This location cannot be beat. This place finally meets the wants of our whole family: boating, surfing, bike riding, running, fishing and near a cool town. The house is the lower level of a duplex. The house is well furnished and comfortable with the exception of the beds which are all very uncomfortable and for some strange reason have comforters one size too small (the King beds have queen sized comforters) Overall, we are satisfied.

  The Unit and location were the perfect respite from a day on the beach. Tranquil, spacious setting overlooking the Channel with gorgeous sunsets to enjoy in the evenings, along with the beautiful
  covered deck to enjoy coffee in the mornings. And use of the dock for water sports was an added bonus. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. I would suggest an update of the electronics by adding a flat screen tv in the living room--the room is too large for the current, old tv, and it would also be nice if one of the bedrooms offered separate beds for siblings to share. Overall, the Unit is perfect for a week at the beach and we can't wait to come back!
